"2022 is the year of regulatory and legislative scrutiny of the influencer marketing industry. Not just effective disclosure of creator advertising, but also issues including proper representation, pay parity, accurate advertising of crypto assets and working against greenwashing. The Influencer Marketing Trade Body is actively working with Parliament, with the Department of Digital Culture Media and Sport and with the Advertising Standards Authority to effect positive change. I'm delighted that What They Said is now part of that conversation and look forward to working together towards enhanced levels of professionalism within our sector."
